RCL Retrievers holds back 4-5 puppies/year for our started dog program.  They will be ready for next years hunting season!  All pups have been started on birds,water and introduced to the crate.  They are all retrieving machines and are showing great potential.  We follow Jackie Mertens training video Sound Beginnings.  We feel this gets our pups and started dogs off to a GREAT start.  Below are some pictures of the pups retrieving at 12 weeks of age.  Please feel free to contact us for your next hunting buddy or your future hunt test dog!  Below are the started pups available for 2009 hunting season!!

Gunner was sold as a 6 month old started dog by RCL Retrievers. His new owner has shared some wonderful pictures of him.  He currently is being used as a guide dog in Texas and enjoying every moment of it!!!
